PW Architecture is committed to making meaningful contributions to the community. We have a range of staff initiatives to support our employees' involvement in the community. Each year we actively participate in numerous fund raising events to support local and national programs. Provided in the links below are details of the programs we have supported this year.
  • Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer
The Rio Tinto Ride to Conquer Cancer is a unique, two-day cycling event to take place on August 18-19, 2012, journeying 240k through Queensland scenic countryside. The money raised for The Ride will benefit the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, a worldwide leader in cancer research and discovery.
  • Bridge to Brisbane
The Sunday Mail Suncorp Bridge to Brisbane is Queensland’s biggest annual fun run. This community event raises funds for charity and in 2010 raised more than $530,000, including over $279,000 for Autism Queensland.
  • Movember
Each Movember we challenge our men to change their appearance and the face of men's health by growing a moustache. The moustache is the means by which we raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer and depression in men programs.
  • Australia's Biggest Morning Tea
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is one of Australia’s most well-loved fundraising events, and plays a vital role in raising money towards Cancer Council’s work in research, education, prevention and support.
